Re: For people with children........question.......

@MickD Our daughter was an only child and used to ask us why we never had any other children and we would always tell her "Because when God made you, he made you perfect, and he knew that you could never be improved upon so he blessed us with you so that we could devote all of our love to only you", she just used to say "Oh", such a simple answer from a child who asked such a thought provoking question.

Re: For people with children........question.......

We have one child that we had later in life.  She was our blessing that we thought would never be.   Now she is our biggest headache.  The answer to your question is NO.  All our money was spent on her education. She is ungrateful.   We missed a lot of things in life because we were spending our time and cash raising her properly and giving her opportunities that we didn't have. At this point we want her out so we can enjoy traveling and getting back to having some fun but she's not taking the hint.

For me yes, and in fact I wish I had one more.

Re: For people with children........question.......

Yes... in a heartbeat!

I was independent, deciding after all my friends got married and had kids that I would rather be on my own, taking care of myself rather than marrying the wrong man.   I was also not a child lover simply because that little person was a child... I didn't babysit and never babysat.  I thought babies were adorable but glad to hand them back.

Then I met my DH and we married.  I had two boys who are terrific men now.  Family oriented, loving and work hard.

They remember a great childhood and remember going across this great Nation in whatever trailer/tent we could afford at the time.  We hiked, rode bikes and we all learned about nature, people and the world.....   not saying there weren't hard times, there were but we were given the blessing of being able to get through it.

Yes.... in a heartbeat.... Woman Happy

Yikes, ouch . . . . unless she is on drugs or has been arrested this is kind of harsh.  With all due respect do you not own some of this?

I have two...great kids, and one now has two of his own.  If I could go back in time, I would have had one or two more.

No it's not harsh I live it everyday.  There is no drug use involved that I'm aware of she is a part of the entitled generation, are you aware of them?  Oh she is a sweetheart on the outside just a terror to her family.  Own what? that we afforded her every opportunity? She doesn't have any debt like others.

@ANewHue you're referring to things and money, what about love and nurturing? Did you and your husband provide that?

I'm sorry that you hate your daughter. That is very sad.

Your posts about your daughter comes across as hateful towards her.
