Yes, I would absolutely have had my son. However, I think I would have gone "husband free".

Thank you. I appreciate every prayer. Since the day I gave birth to my first daughter, hearing about anyone losing a child was a horror I could never imagine. I would pray for the parents. For the most part I felt we lived a fairly charmed life. That charmed life ended last year. It's every bit as bad as you can imagine. My only solace is believing we will be together again. I have her 2 dogs, her loves, and they help me feel close to her.

I can't imagine how someone can answer this question in the negative. Yes, there are plenty of negative experiences in life, but it's extreme to think a mother would ever regret having children. I think it's so important to have your own life plan, without depending on others to behave in the manner you want. Now, if you ask me, or many of my childless friends if any of us regret not having children. I can easily say - heck, NO! LOL

It's horrible beyond belief. It certainly changes life forever. I do find as time goes on that stupid stuff just doesn't matter. I truly take time to relish the good, people, family, my fur babies, a nice day, good friends.

You will be together again.
I was afraid to have children, because I lost my Dad when I was only ten, to a drunk driver.
My life was never the same. It messes you up.

I think it would be extremely hard for someone to come out and answer that in the negative.

@YorkieonmyPillow my son just asked me this question when he got home today - If you knew that I was gonna be like this would you still have had me? Or had another kid? Broke my heart. My son has OCD and learning problems. I told him - Your dad and I had you and only you as you were the most perfect child. We didn't feel the need to have anymore children. It's the truth! My son is a great kid! He is respectful, funny - with a dry sense of humor, smart and loving. The love of my life!!!!!!

I have two, a daughter 28, and a son 26. My daughter and I have always been very close, and now that she is an adult, we are best friends.
My son was a very difficult child, he was misdiagnosed as ADHD, when in fact the correct diagnosis was "Oppositional Defiant". I had a tough time with him, and actually had to have him arrested, because nothing I did or said got through to him, and I was afraid if he continued on the path he was on, it would have turned out very badly. He was angry with me at the time, but has since told me he knows I was right to do it.
He left home at age 18, and has been supporting himself since that time. We did not speak for about 2 years, and I think that was probably a good thing, although I worried constantly. I have a good relationship with him now, although I don't agree with many of the things he does. I know when to keep my mouth shut and when to suggest things.
Depsite having a good relationship now, I could never let him live in my home, thankfully he has never expressed a desire to do so. When he has money problems, he figures it out himself, as I do not offer any monetary assistance. It is very hard to find employment in the town I live in, but he always has a full-time job and a part-time one when the need arises. He has often told me that I gave him a very strong work ethic, and he does realize now that I was right most of the time. He admits had he listened to me, his life would be easier than it is now.
Yes, I would definitely still have children. I cannot imagine my life without my two. If I had been able, and had a stable loving marriage, I would have had more children. Divorce ended that, as I never remarried.

I can't imagine my life without them and my grand children.
