At the launch of the James Webb space mirror from French Guiana on Christmas morning, Jean-Luc Voyer counted down from 10 to 1 in French and then said a word that sounds like TUP (rhymes with pup). 

I have not yet learned how to spell that word, but it is used in French to mark the exact time of the start of the launch. 

I know many of you have been wondering about this for two days now .

Saw on the news they launched the Worlds Biggest Telescope, today I think, into space. Said it look for life on other planets, something like that!

@hckynutjohn   Yes, the mirror telescope was launched at 7:20 AM on Christmas. It will set itself up about a million miles from Earth and if all goes well, might be able to see light from the Big Bang. Earliest possible photos in early June 2022.
