I just can't imagine Lisa "ending up" with a personal trainer. She seems to be totally into money, impressions, her looks, Madison Avenue, et cetera., -- and VERY high maintenance. Just doesn't seem like they would be a good match to me for the long haul. JMO, of course.

That's just it...to you she 'seems to be'. No one here knows her at all, she revealed what she wanted to reveal. She's a sales person, or she was. A sales person's job is to sell, much like an actor sells a character to us.

I'm sure she's kept the best part of herself and her life for herself and those she loves. I'm happy for her.

And that's precisely why I worded my post the way I did. I don't pretend to know Lisa -- as I said, I'm basing my opinion on the way "she seemed" to be on QVC. And I'm certainly not knocking a personal trainer. I'm just saying the way she "appeared" she would be looking for a man with major bucks. I certainly don't think I know anything about her for certain. Just giving my opinion based on what I've seen and heard from her.

Good personal trainers are not easy to come by.

The good ones can make a great living!

That's true...plus the ones who work with high end clients in their homes work in pretty posh surroundings too!

My trainer is getting a doctorate in physical therapy...he'll be off doing a residency in 2 years. He said he was torn between getting his doctorate or going ""high end"" - but decided he wants to concentrate on working with seniors and people with MS (his mom has the disease).

He has a few clients he meets at their men's club - he said it's pretty spectacular.

He sounds like one of the good ones!

A lot of difference between what he does and the kid ""trainers"" you see at the big box gyms.

Eric has a nice body but he looked better wearing the Ray-Bans

ITA,

If he is the same guy from the beach, he was more attractive from a distance wearing sunglasses. Don't know if he is more than a friend, but thought Lisa would go for the strikingly handsome, clean shaven, corporate type. {#emotions_dlg.mellow}

I have doubts as to whether Lisa is that "high maintenance". Based on just my personal observation, she seemed to be much more herself on Monday night's PM Style than in those posh Italian jewelry shows where she was wearing gowns that she could hardly move in. On the PM Style shows, I think that was the real Lisa, because that kind of humor, silliness, and rapport with the models and guests would be very hard to do as an "act". And she seemed so much more comfortable.

It just may be that QVC found the "it" factor that Lisa had and made the most of it for their own bottom line. And since she apparently likes to travel and see different parts of the world, why wouldn't she jump at the chance to go all the places they sent her? That "high maintenance" might just have been the QVC hype that she had to project... it may have been the "act" instead of the other way around.

Besides, after 25 years with QVC, and what she was probably paid, I doubt that she needs to worry about finding a man with money. I would bet my last dollar that she has enough DOLLARS to last her the rest of her life if she never worked another day. Maybe it's all about fun and romance, who knows? Whatever makes her happy, I'm all for it.

Whether Eric is a friend or a lover, I wish her well. She looks happy.

As far as who she would choose, I never really thought about it.

I personally don't like the scruffy look, more the clean shaven look for me.

And the multiple, multiple tattoos are not my style at all. But, as I said, I wish her happiness.

I think it makes perfect sense. She wanted to strengthen her body and she did. Her body is very, very strong now because Eric is her personal trainer. When she showed that video of her working out at the gym, those exercises she was doing were advanced and hard to do. She has done well. If Eric is also her partner for life....even better.

Personally I don't think Lisa is that shallow that her only "type" is a wealthy, corporate guy.

We only see pics of Eric. We have NOT A CLUE who he is as a person.

We do know that he is her personal trainer. He was in the video I mentioned of her working out at the gym.

With respect.....there really is nothing wrong with a woman being high maintenance. Lisa loved the nice things in life and if you follow her Facebook page, that was no act. Her home was beautiful but her style was expensive. She wore a Cartier watch and it definitely did not come from QVC. A lot of her clothing that she wears in the real world are expensive and beautifully tailored and with that comes a cost..

Maybe I like Lisa because she isn't afraid to be who she is.....high maintenance and all. And some men like women who are high maintenance.
