You have posted a thread on VP and in it is the mention of the theme 'hope'. I would like your opinion or view on 'hope'. I know a dictionary's definition of the word but I'd like to know your experience with the word.

I ask because at a spiritual center I attend, they do not believe in hope. That was a first for me though I'd heard of this outlook before. They are not negative or pessimistic, they just don't believe in hope. Nor 'wishing' or 'luck' either.
