For those of you who live in CO. - does the altitude give the Broncos an advantage?

I went to a convention once and the altitude sickness wiped me out for 3 days!

I would imagine it would be worse for an athlete.

Any comments from experts?

I think Jules lives in CO. I'm no expert but I think the Broncos would be slightly more acclimated to the higher elevation.

I used to, grew up in CO and lived there for 35 years. They say athletes that train in Colorado have an advantage due to the altitude, like cyclists and runners for example. As for football games, for the short time they play (3ish hours) I don't think there is much disadvantage to any visiting teams. They might get a little more winded, but they have oxygen for them on the sidelines. Actually the altitude gives an advantage to both teams because the ball goes a longer distance since the air is lighter, most visiting kickers seem to love kicking in Denver. JMO of course. Smile

I just thought of this...if the bronco and hawks both win today it will be teams from both cities that legalized recreational pot this year, lol. Hmmm, makes you wonder.

Interesting observation Lynnj.... both Seattle and Denver could sellout the Doritos sales. {#emotions_dlg.laugh}
