Today I was in the baking aisle of the grocery store and an elderly lady touched me on the shoulder. She asked me if I could help her find the cheapest bag of flour because she was running short of money. She was 88 years old and needed my help because she couldn't read the prices since she was unable to pick up her new glasses because she doesn't have the money. So when we talk about cutting entitlements for all the freeloaders, we need to think about people like her.

It's always a victory for me when I remember why I entered a room.
