Each "benefit" you've cited has been paid for by those who toil to pay taxes, known as YOUR TAXES AT WORK, and are not government benefactions.

It's time for deep cuts and time limits imo. The budget for this program is out of control.

You can always refuse to collect it and advise your kids to do the same. Or, vote and support the party who really wants to do away with all entitlements.

I hope no one writing on this thread ever has to rely on Food Stamps or SNAP programs in the future.

Most people collecting SS benefits will collect one-third more than they paid into the system in their lifetimes. Therefore, most of us fortunate enough to live long enough are sponging off the rest of society. Look it up in Politifact.

Caps have no affect on the teenaged mothers who drop out of school and onto those who go to work, pay taxes, and live the lifestyle the can afford on what is left of the money they earned.
