I used to like DDD until I got tired of Guy cramming food in his face. Back in someone's cooking area.

I do like the Sat. morning shows here. Pioneer Woman, Trisha Yearwood, The Kitchen. And on Sunday, I like Ina Garten and the one with the girl from Minnesota--can't think of the name. Also, I like Chopped.

I watched him until he got in trouble big time with the l-w. Thereafter, I donated his cookbook. Wouldn't have anything of his in the house.

Oh yeah, I remember the Frugal Gourmet and what he got in trouble for.

But back to the Food Network. I really enjoy Chopped and have lately enjoyed Beat Bobby Flay, a fun and very entertaining 1/2 hour show. Hate Triple D and not very fond of Triple G either b/c of the host. He's become a caricature.

The Kitchen could be a really good show except for all the talking over and the silliness, like the above poster mentioned and, like someone else said, I really enjoy the focus on Thanksgiving as we get closer. I hope they have the live show this year. Haven't seen a commercial for it. I wonder if they moved it to the Cooking Channel. I hope not because I don't get that channel,.

Sara Moulton used to have two shows a day on FN. One was live. I always liked her.

FN needs a major overhaul with more innovative programming. It could be so much better than it is. Same goes for HGTV.

Ree Drummond has good recipes but I feel like she's on Nitrous Oxide the whole show.

I have all his cookbooks, but yes, he really got himself in a mess. His recipes are spot on though.

It was Vegetable Clam Sauce for over pasta.

Kind of like clean out the produce drawer, dice, slice and chop it all up. Saute it all together with garlic, salt, pepper and parsley, add some white wine and a can of clams, with the juice.

We had it over rigatoni and it was so good.
