I like to watch some of the Food Networks shows, but they must be running out of shows to show because I counted 28 shows in a row of Diners,Diners-Dives in a row.REALLY.Bring back the older ones that were fun to watch. This just my opinion.

I think they put a lot of their shows on their other channel-Cook or Cooking. Of course it's on a more expensive tier than the food network. Don't know why.

I watch the Cooking Channel more than Food Network now.

I get tired of all the competition shows on Food Network. There are just too many on in a row of all of their shows.

That whole network has gone down the drain. I think about the only thing I watch is Triple D but I tire of it after about 3 or 4 shows in a row. Oh, I do watch Ree Drummond occasionally too and sometimes Trisha Yearwood.

I think it's turned into a food gameshow network and I'm just not interested in that junk. Chopped is OK once in a while but I get bored with it.

And they do it a couple of times a week with Triple D.

That channel has gotten boring.

The Cooking Channel isn't much better with running multiples of the same show too.

I use to like Triple D....but it bores me to death now....way too many airings in a row...yes, I do change the station...but every time I go back....its still on...

Chopped in another program that plays over and over in a row....

I agree.. it seems that one competition show does well and soon there are several following that same blueprint for a show! Too many shows based on the same focus!! I'd much rather see a variety of foodie shows.

I used to like watching some of their programs, but lost interest with all the competition shows. Restaurant Impossible just makes me gag sometimes, for obvious reasons. DDD is OK, but more like a travelogue than a cooking show. They do run worthwhile program at Thanksgiving, with lots of helpful cooking tips & ideas for preparing the holiday feast. Not that I do, but it's fun to watch.

Last week, I watched an episode of The Kitchen on one of the cooking channels because they did a segment about re-working soup & sandwich combos. I got a couple of good ideas, but won't watch it again because it consists of several hosts, sometimes talking over each other, & it just got too loud & silly at times.

Sigh. Guess I'll just have to go back to reading cookbooks for entertainment.
