Re: Food For Thought - Sharing With Others.

Not sure what we are going to do tonight. I had coffee and corn flakes with banana for breakfast. Won't eat lunch. DH and I are on our own tonight...so maybe he will take me out. If so, it's likely to be our favorite Italian restaurant. But he may cook too so, I just don't know.

I can not help as I only eat for the health of my body and most people would not stick to my diet....I eat a low sugar, low salt, low carb diet with lots of raw vegetables, only salmon and occasional chicken. One apple a day, one avocado. Raw nuts, coconut oil.... I make flaxseed muffins with no flour or sugar. That is pretty much all I eat. Very simple with no processed foods. I never eat out. Pretty boring huh?

Yup....pretty boring as you say. But you'll probably live to be a thousand (or it will just seem like it on that diet!).

TEE HEE gazelle, I'm just having a little fun with you! I admire your resolve very much. I wish I could be more like you and eat healthily. I'll bet I would lose a few pounds!

Lets see McD's sausage egg and cheese biscuit this morning. Out to diner tonight having Chicken at waffles at a very pretty resort Hotel...then cheesecake tonight.

I don't think any of these choices have sugar, bread, salt or fat?{#emotions_dlg.blushing}

Hey croemer (birthday girl).....I sort of like the sausage, egg and cheese biscuit from Jack in the Box better that McD's......and I can get that any time of the day if I want one. There is a J I t B just down the road from where I live......closer than McD's........

Sounds like you will be having a wonderful Birthday dinner......enjoy.

HiYa Fluffy...TY! I would love to try one but the closet one to me is about 15-20 minutes away. I will keep that in mind though. I like Jack in the Box.

I am having curried chicken left over from a party I attended last night. I just have to get some saffron rice and a couple condiments and I'm set. The hostess has tons left over and gave us some to take home. It was awesome!

Tonight is turkey cutlets with a panko and herb crust, baked sweet potato, salad with avocado, and Jasmine tea.

Re: Food For Thought - Sharing With Others.

Having had past health issues, I had to take matters into my own hands as all doctors gave me were tests, more tests, and drugs. By. eating a very clean diet, the overall inflammation in my body is much less,and I feel good again. I did have to replace both knees due to severe OA. My husband on the other hand, eats what he wants and was given the blessing of good genes and good joints. I sneak healthy food on him without him knowing it. Smiley Happy

I love it! And I don't mind having it almost every day Smile Fiber One 80 calorie high fiber cereal. I put a couple of slices of banana on top with half a dozen blueberries and the seeds. My grandmother used to tell me a high fiber diet was important and my MDs say the same thing.

Good to hear you eat a healthy diet, too!
