Florida weather is always so bizarre

Right now the sun is shining - the sky is blue - there is a gentle breeze ... an absolutely lovely day EXCEPT it is also thundering and lightening right outside our windows like it is going to be a major storm any min. I guess it is heat lightening. Very strange.
