I remember driving across the Sunshine Skyway Bridge after the tanker hit it and part of the bridge fell (I don't remember which side fell).  It was so spooky to be driving along the remaining lanes of the bridge and see this big gap in the bridge beside you.  I always felt a little panic crossing that bridge after that when I saw a tanker approaching while I was crossing.  Just going over the bridge was bad enough.  Man that brings back memories!

If my dog doesn't like you, neither do I.

@LizzieInSRQ  it was interesting.  Hoping next time though that the weather is better when we can be outside on the top deck of the cruise ship.

Just an interesting fact it's 2 hours from leaving the port in Tampa to go under the bridge on cruise ships....very slow and shallow channel that the ships have to follow.

@CANDLEQUEEN for me it's the Oakland Bay Bridge and the Richmond Bridge....Golden Gate doesn't bother me because it's a flatter incline.  Seven Mile is just long and fairly flat.

Chesapeake I will never drive over.  My co-workers had to drive me over it when we had to go to Delaware to work.  Scared the ****** out of me.

I really hate bridges but growing up in Jacksonville, FL you have to cross bridges.  I picked my poison.  To this day I have never driven over the Mathews Bridge and never will.
