Florida ladies - Fort Myers ?

Ladies can anyone in the Fort Myers area recommend any bars ? I will be in the area for a 3 day weekend and looking for things to do. I've heard there is very little to do except for Sanibel Island. What about shopping options? is driving to Naples worth my while as a day trip? I'm flying into Punta Gorda on one of those budget airlines but our hotel is in Fort Myers. Any help will be appreciated,

You could try the Half Shell Bar or the Sandy Parrot Tiki Bar and Grill where they have an Elvis impersonator several nights a week! The Firestone has reasonable martini bar and a nice atmosphere with fun people.

If you'll have a car, Fort Myers Beach (a separate town from Fort Myers) is a cute little beach town with open-air bars and nice little shops.

Sanibel Island is mostly private beaches, I think, and condos. I went there for a day trip but didn't see anything interesting, didn't even get to the public beach area because they charged for parking.

Naples is more upscale. I just drove through it and wished I had time to stop and look around as it looked very nice. I recommend Naples over Sanibel Island.
