I think it did not crash...I have nothing to base that on.

The wreckage is at the bottom of the Indian Ocean but I'm really curious about the ping from the pilot's cell phone during the mystery flight. Who was he trying to call?

Good question. Heard today they're investigating an oil slick near where the pings were heard in the ocean

There was speculation about a phone call before the flight as well, I now wonder if he was hoping someone would take him out of his 'mission'. They also now know the flight was purposely trying to avoid radar detection for quite some time.

It might be something out of our normal range of thinking... no expert has gone THERE yet... because they would get criticism..... everyone is so h~el~l bent on finding wreckage at the bottom of the ocean..... maybe something supernatural happened.... image that!

I think it hit the water intact and is sitting down at the bottom of the ocean.

I do not think it would be intact-- hitting the water at 600 miles per hour?

I heard some expert saying there is a good chance it hit the water intact. Otherwise, they would have had a debris field on the surface.

But who knows...

Good points. One good thing is the airline industry taking loooong hard looks at the holes in their technology.Sure hope something can be learned about tracking & safety.

As coverage continues to change, I'm not sure what to think anymore. They report something, change it, report it, etc....

ETA: I may not have this right but I thought they found a ping from the co-pilot's phone and stated it may have just be left on. Just more speculation.
