Flavored canine meds???

I read somewhere (can't remember for the life of me) that they gave their dog, flavored pain medication, like beef or chicken flavor???

Would this be OTC or by Rx???????

Also, I don't understand why anyone would have to go that far - I guess it's obvious that they don't know how to give their dog medication???

Any ideas on what kind of pain meds are "flavored???"..... TIA{#emotions_dlg.confused1}
