ky toby the answer. iT IS NOT THE DEL. DATE, IT'S THE FACT THAT IT IS NOT LEAVING IN PROCESS. IT will never get here on the del. date at this rate. Remember, we are buying Christmas presents? This is an expensive item from a very rep. comp.
I have ordered about five items since and one two days ago, and they all have shipped. This one item was ordered on the 27th. Did you ever try to cancel an item, (AND I DON'T WANT TO CANCEL THIS ONE), if ordering from an outside vendor, on the Q, very hard to cancel, even harder to get out of process.?
My Macy's items came in two days from time of shipping, also Amazon Prime and my doggie bones, plus Este Lauder cosmetics. It's the time of the year for deals and faster shipping, Christmas. Returns slower.
What you are getting it as a gift, I would like to have shipped and out of the process mode. Besides, my request is not hurting anyone on the forum, so why the sarcasum?

If I were promised delivery by 12/7, I wouldn't even be checking on 12/2.
Still, I know I've become way less impatient as I've gotten older. If I were antsy, I'd pay Amazon and shop there, but no, their shipping isn't free. "Pre-paid" is what it is, but that probably wouldn't sell!

MILLSSHOP. I'M NOT IMPATIENT BECAUSE I AM OLDER AS YOU INDICATED, BUT UNLESS THEY DO FAST SHIPPING, IT WILL NOT GET HERE BY THE REGULAR SHIPPING METHOD. IT TAKES AROUND 7-10 DAYS TO GET TO CA. ESPECIALLY BY BROWN. REMEMBER, IT IS STILL IN PROCESS, NOT EVEN SHIPPED YET ON THE 2ND. ADD 7-TO 10 DAYS. I'VE HAD PACKAGES GO BEYOND THE EST. DEL. DATE.
i don't know why anyone here cares about arguing this. Now I'm done with forums also, except, the kind one like wellness, pets, home, garden. You have your opinions and I have mine, we do not agree. I am usually a kind gentle person, so these forums are not for me to argue. I also did not like the GETTING OLDER REMARK. i AM NOT SENILE OR NASTY, BUT AM ASHAMED OF MYSELF FOR REACTING TO THIS POST AND ACTING THE SAME, NASTY.

I have a very good friend that I've known for twenty years who works for UPS, he is in management. The employees are told NO vacations after Thanksgiving and January has become just as important as December because of extended returns.
He is dogged tired. I feel sorry for them because it's a 24/7 business and some customers can be brutal. With the advent of Amazon and other retailers promising "get there in two days or less or else" , it's crazy.
