Yes, I found out about this magazine discontinuing a few weeks ago and am disappointed. It is one of the few magazines I like.

There are four magazines that this publisher has that will be discontinued at the end of the month.

@catter70

Years ago, before the internet, I always had a beautiful bamboo basket of the most recent magazines and catalogs.

Remember paper catalogs?

@Sooner  What are you saying about these four magazines?  You had me worried for a minute because I'm a long time subscriber to Southern magazine and would really miss it. But I googled and it's still very much in business. So what were you saying in your post?

@catter70  I too received that letter and am terribly disappointed.   I enjoy the hands on experience to kick back and put my troubles in the rear and enjoy my read and tea!

Ohhhh.  And I jumped to the wrong conclusion. Ha I was so worried I typed Southern and left out the Living part. I do enjoy my Southern Living magazine still. And I subscribe to New Orleans Magazine, too. And the daily paper, The Times Picayune. I get the news all day long on my phone as it happens, but gotta have the newspaper to read everything in depth with my morning coffee. It's a comfortable routine that I just don't want to break.

I have a subscription to First for Women and really enjoy it!  I did not know they were ending subscriptions -- I am really sad to hear that!

I am so sick of all of the magazines going under.  It's beyong sad.  I am one who has always loved reading magazines and I have subscribed to many, many of them.

I get that times are hard but it's still very disheartening and very sad!

I don't enjoy seeing everything on-line --- it's just not the same!

I'm sorry but I feel earlier generations just don't know what they are missing.  I can't even list all of the wonderful publications that have bit the dust over the years!

Same thing with my soap opera magazine. I actually like the Women's World they sent me as a substitute. Hope they keep printing a paper magazine.
