Today I woke to find a trace of snow on the grass.  It is the first snow of the season in my area which is very unusual as I can't remember having a first snow this late in the season.  I live in Wilmington Delaware just down the road from Joe.

Maryland had a trace of snow too.  The most we ever got this winter.  It'll be gone in a hour or so. There was snow on the top of the trash cans.  Not on the street.  A tiny amount on the grass.

Today is trash day. Of course when I went into the kitchen this morning, there were 6 bottles sitting there for recycling. I cleaned them and knew the trash men would be there any second. I ran out to put the bottles into the recycling can.

And there it was. The driveway was covered in snow. I had slippers on, so I figured, I am going no matter what. It was just enough snow to make the driveway white.

I am glad I did, the recycling was picked up 2 minutes later.

PS - Went to the grocery stores. All the streets are still white. This time not from snow but salt.

I'm in east central Pa. and we've not had much snow at all. Got a couple inches last week, a dusting yesterday that didn't stick to drive or sidewalk and a dusting today that did stick. I just went out to grab my newspaper and doesn't appear to be slippery. Doesn't have to snow anymore as far as I'm concerned.

I live in New Jersey ... and I also woke up to a trace of snow on the grass and roofs.  Also a trace on some spots on the street and sidewalks.

A pretty dusting in RI this morning too.  Actually 2 days in a row.  We have been waiting for some snow but have had very little.  It's a funny winter so far.  Friday and Saturday it is supposed to get very cold in the northeast.  They are forecasting 30 below wind chills, crazy cold!   Then Sunday will be back in the low 40's.........just have to roll with it.

I'm on eastern MA and we haven't had any serious snow yet. Just some coatings and an inch or two. Woke up yesterday to coating. It was beautiful but not enough to shovel.  It is the warm temperatures that is really odd.  It was mostly in the 50s and high 40s all of January.  I havent worn my faux fur coat yet.  Its been too warm.

We had a trace of snow (It's still there!) this morning as well.  I'm in Bucks County, PA.  We also had a trace of snow about a week before Christmas.

Fingers crossed that this is it!...no more!
