Gas is cheaper in the next town, so why get it here.

Hi hckynut, out H2 has a 32 gallon tank and the Taurus, 19gallons I think. When we get gas for either vehicle, we always fill up..

Sometimes you don't get to choose who all is included. So, you put up with the annoying one/ones and enjoy the non-annoyers or not go and miss out on the trip.
Some posters are bothered by their husband's habits but do you ask them why they stayed married to him?
I like your post! Very true!
JJ has talked about her friend's quirks, as well as her own. I guess you could substitute Husband's quirks w/ friend's, and staying married to staying friends in her instance.

I asked the question because I have been trying to think of a logical answer. She is clueless about GPS...I had to plug it in from the back seat. She had no idea about what gas prices were going to be down the road. Seems like she just has a little quirk. Never get more than $40 worth of gas.
This is just ONE of her many quirks!
It's a good thing she has you for a "friend" who can manage the GPS for her. Hang on to her...I doubt you have many others, or you wouldn't spend time with this one...you know, given her "quirks" and all.
Don't all new cars have some kind of readout for MPG?
Was this a road trip for fun, or was there some other purpose to it?
ETA: My gas buying habit...I fill up at half full, unless it's bad weather...then I wait for a nicer day. Also, I've been on road trips with a gas kitty (everyone buys their own food). The driver's contribution is the wear and tear on the car.
