I just made myself some pancakes. I pulled a plate out of the cabinet and put the hot pancakes on the plate and took it to the table. My daughter and I sat down and I heard a pop sound. I looked down and my plate had cracked. It is still in one piece with a huge crack going down the middle. So weird.
I keep my house at 73 degrees, so the plates couldn't have been that cold to begin with. Also, the cabinet they are in is an inside wall, so that wouldn't have been a factor.
Has anyone had this happen? Their web site says 5 year warranty against chips with normal use.
