@lovesrecess, I totally agree.  The outrage is kinda comical.  This isn't new and nothing we didnt know happens. It is just finally exposed.  Besides the payments, how many kids of the wealthy and/or "really" famous get in on name alone.  You have to wonder.

Also, now some legal problems for some of the children:

William Moran, an attorney specializing in crisis management explains "if Olivia Jade knew and participated, she could face criminal liability.  As long as charges against the parents are pending, the children are still vulnerable."

Prosecutors will now begin to seek further evidence for a trial....and this is where Olivia Jade could find herself in trouble.  The prosecution may bring pressure by seeking to interview the children as part of the evidence.

These are Federal felonies, not civil misdemeanors.  Loughlin's uppity attitude will come back to bite her on her fashionably thin posterior.  Judges, who are the ones to pass sentences, don't like to be made to feel the law is "bothering" you in your oh-so-busy-and-important life.

When a Federal prosecutor offers you a deal, it is generally a good idea to accept it and give at least the appearance of remorse, especially if they can prove you are guilty.  Loughlin will rue the day she decided to act as if she is above the law.

@VegasBusinessWoman, totally agree.  I would definitely be taking it serously if I were her. I am surprised she seems so laxed about it or it could just be the preception she wants to give. Either way, not a good idea.

One can forgive and still expect justice to be served.

@Johnnyeager  I thought I'd responded to your post yesterday (last night), maybe I didn't hit post, but *cancel* in error.

It may have been deleted?  Don't know why as it wasn't breaking any rules, I wouldn't think.

Who knows, maybe it started a firestorm because of my response---which was I think it's sad that ALL these parents put their kids in a very unethical and illegal predicament.  Even if the kids were eager and determined to go to college (and your mention of Olivia--clearly she was earning money and busy with endorsements and such and I think loathed the idea of college), the parents were the pen pushers to make these deals.  THEY sought out Singer or whoever. Be it writing a check for a few thousand or very large sum, urging their kids to *play dumb*  omgosh how awful to tell your kids what to do.  They weren't being good parents at all---in all of this.
