It's not just one night - I agree, it's been going on for a few days now and will probably continue into next week. I had to get tranquilizers for my dog and she is just so upset even with medication. I woke up about 5:00 a.m. this morning with someone shooting them off. I don't know how expensive or inexpensive fireworks are but you think people could find better ways to waste their money.

I am DREADING tonight and all the days after of fireworks going off that shake the walls of my house. Some years out side is so smokey and loud it seems like a war is going on. I do not understand the importance of disturbing dangerous loud obnoxious fireworks. They should be outlawed.

We have an ordinance that there are to be NO fireworks after 11pm. I would not hesitate to call 911 if there is any danger or if they are being set off after 11. Fireworks are never going to stop, it is part of the 4th forever. I enjoy fireworks but we always make sure our dogs are safe if they are scared.

I sleep right through them any more. Almost nothing is illegal here. I think you can shoot off fireworks for this whole month and then again on New Years. The 24th is celebrated heavily here.

Since fireworks were made legal in Georgia this week, people took advantage of that and were shooting those deep, sounding ones around 1:30 this morning.. Hoping those living around them called 911 but the heavy storms that came through must've stopped them, also we live close to a lake and it well could've been partiers at the lake..
People don't care anymore, it's all about them them them.. I love fireworks but come on, in the wee hours of the morning, along with probably some drinking and carelessness, is flat out stupid..

OUr started about two weeks ago or a little more. First the high school graduations, now the 4th. Yet, we've noticed through the years that those that are purchasing the illegal fireworks are those on EBT and all sort of govt. assistance. The fireworks aren't free, they are costly and it would take no less than $500 to set off what the average bozo blows off nightly. What I could do with $500.

I enjoy the neighborhood displays. When they start up, I go outside to watch. It never goes on past 10pm or so. That's when the noise odinance goes into effect. While they are illegal, the police don't do anything about it, even wih complaints going into the control center.
It's only once a year, I like to see people celebrating our country. People at the pro show we went to last night were cheering USA...USA.
I'm sorry for those of you who have to put up with the noise and don't like it.

Fireworks are illegal this year since it is so dry. Won't stop people firing off guns.

They are the ones that broadcast it. Yes, seriously.
