Fed ex should change their name. There is no express at all.   I ordered two things that happen to be shipped out by them and I get emails going to be delivered on a certain day and it isn't and the status changes to pending.  They really are the worst.

Typical of FedEx, my only package missing I ordered through Amazon.  All of my other package came on time, mostly Amazon or UPS.  The only trouble I have, is with FedEx.  In fact I try to avoid ordering from a company that uses FedEx.  I didn't when I ordered my item.  Now I'll have to wait another week or so, and hope it comes.

@songbird I try to avoid Fed Ex too but I don't know who the shipper is until I get confirmation it was shipped.  I cringe when I get the confirmation and it's Fed Ex.

The interesting thing with Fed-Ex is their founder Frederick W. Smith is still the Chairman and CEO. You would think he'd be focused on fixing the issues within the company, but no. They just keep plodding along and making the same mistakes. Is he insulated from the issues the company has with making on-time deliveries? Is he unaware of how consumers now view Fed-Ex? Does he just not care?

As a general rule, the guys/gals who start a company care the most about the company. It's their baby. As a company grows they often find themselves less and less aware of what's happening at the grassroots level of the company. Fed-Ex is no longer the "Absolutely, positively, get there" company they used to be. They're now more the "Dear God, please don't let them screw this up," company. And more often than not they screw it up.

Having consumers now avoiding companies that ship Fed-Ex, paying more to use other shippers, or just not ordering something if it comes Fed-Ex, is not good for Fed-Ex. Federick W. Smith needs to leave his corporate office and get back down to the ground and ask, "What the heck is going on here people?" If he doesn't, there may not be a Fed-Ex in the not too distant future.

I've had a package sitting at a FedEx hub for 13 days.  The vendor has my money since technically it has "shipped".

I try to be patient, and grateful that I am able to live a life of relative ease but this is getting a little annoying.  Fingers crossed it actually starts coming my way this week.

Ordered a 100+ pound item either 2 or 3 days ago & arrived today on my doorstep via FedEx! Free shipping & did NOT request express or overnight delivery. So miracles happen sometimes! If it took a few weeks I wouldn't have been bothered/upset either, but was a very pleasant surprise!

It is ironic that this post was at the top of the page today.

Earlier this week, I ordered boots from Amazon and was told I would have them by Thursday at 8 pm. I checked the FedEx tracking number and it says the label was printed the day I ordered them and that was it. I also noticed the package was supposedly coming from Great Britain, but the seller is in the US?

Thursday, 8 pm came and went and my status on Amazon said the delivery was running late. Then it changed to being delivered by 9/30. The tracking still says that the label was printed, so I inquired with the seller and was told I will gave them by 10/1. So, we will see and I am curious to see if they really were coming from Great Britain. I wish that Fed Ex would update the tracking status.

I never have issues with UPS and, rarely with the Post Office (except for how long it takes).

@qvcfreak I have that pendant and a chain that looks like that.  I love it and wear it a lot!  I'm very happy for you!  Wear it proudly!

FedEx is a freak show here!  They race up and down our street many times a day, driving like maniacs and you may or may not get your stuff, who knows.

It's like they have no idea what is going on with packages.
