Re: Favorite Holiday TV ad this year

I just saw the commercial I mentioned, the other day, and it's for a place called 'Big Lot'. I have no idea what that is, but it must be a store as the three singing ladies are pushing shopping carts. They are all so very cute, with beautiful smiles, and singing a lovely tune.

I love the Wells Fargo ad. So glad they have the horses and can't believe Budweiser would end that tradition of the Clydesdales at Christmas. Of course, it's now owned by Belgians and they have made many cost saving measures not only with advertising but I read in the quality of the hops they use. They say they are trying to grow their business in China so their focus is not on the U.S..

I saw one last night for Publix, a southern supermarket for those that don't know, that made me actually cry.

Little girl looking outside on a snowy day next to a Christmas tree...mommy asks, what are you going to do? She replies..I'm going to bake some cookies because he's coming tonight. Next scene, they are in the kitchen making cookies, she's taking the most care to decorate them beautifully.

Doorbell rings. She runs to the door with the cookies...mom and dad look puzzled...door opens....there stands Grandpa.

Obviously mom and dad thought the cookies were for Santa.

OMG, I lost it.{#emotions_dlg.crying}

Here's the link..it's from 2013, but it's the first time I have seen it.

That's the one that gets me! I love you, grandpa!

Fate whispers to her, "You cannot withstand the storm." She whispers back, "I am the storm."

Wonderful! I just found a better copy of the video on youtube. This one is direct from Publix and the audio is clearer.
