For me, it is hands down a thick, juicy porterhouse steak, that's cooked to a beautiful medium-rare.

I would prefer it to be grass-fed and organic.

What's your favorite food?

Just change that to pasture-raised grass AND grain fed and I'm with you 100 percent!!!  We raised cattle and that grain gives just a little more marbling and flavor to me.  We tried all three (grain, grass, then grain AND grass) kinds over the years and that was our choice!

It's a baby bear, mama bear and pappa bear thing.  Grain only is too fatty, grass only too lean, but both give flavor without being too fatty!  My mouth is watering thinking about it!!!!!!!!

Other than that, my favorites are watermelon and crowder peas--not together!  LOL!!!!

Oh and that steak?  Eaten at home so I can pick up the bone and get those last bits off!

Sound delicious. I love simple dishes like that and when I bartended I would make pasta aglio e olio when I got home late at night. I still eat that often. When will your move been done @momtochloe? I bet you are looking forward to being done!

Hi @Irshgrl31201, good to see you!  I close on my house on Monday and the condo I will be moving to the following Friday but I have an agreement in place that I can stay in the house 30 days so I am targeting the move to be around the 15th.  I'll be so glad when all of this is over as I just told my friend I feel like I have been running and breathing in quicksand for the past couple of weeks . . . Hope you are well my friend!

Hi @momtochloe,

I'm just getting caught up on this thread, but I have been thinking of you and wanted to let you know if you haven't been to Aldi's yet for this week that they have their Italian foods in this week, and their Priano brand of Italian spaghetti sauce is back in, and they have that choice of sause with the Italian sausage with bell peppers in stock.

We got a jar this time around, and I will be making it with spaghetti pasta and their brand of frozen Italian meatballs, and their Mama Cozzi frozen garlic bread too, which is really good if you haven't tried that, either. Smiley Happy

I will be making that for our dinner tomorrow night and we will be eating that for the next few nights.

@Toppers3 egad how did I miss this?  Thanks for letting me know, as I need to run out to buy garbage stickers (because I keep forgetting) I'll swing by Aldi and buy a jar or two . . . thank you my friend, I really appreciate this!

Hope you are doing well, take care . . . Smiley Happy

Today as we walked down the chip aisle, I told my husband if he knows of my last hour here on earth, to just drop me off in this row and I'll finish my life in the chip aisle! LOL Then they can announce over the PA system, "clean up on aisle ??"

I believe you and I were separated at birth Smiley Happy  In most cases, I have quite a bit of willpower, but not when it comes to potato chips.  I do not buy the large bags because I know that I will eat each and every chip in there within a few days.  I do occasionally buy the very small bag near the checkout.  My last meal would be a pepper steak sub, a LARGE bag of potato chips and a couple glasses of wine (maybe more than a couple of glasses if it's my last meal!).  I know, I know.  Wine does not go with this meal, but who cares?  It's all my favorite food groups!
