he is one of my favorite actors.  I watched that show because of him.  When he left I was left empty.

He was terrific on that show.  That's why I watched too.

I love the Waltons.  In the 1970's when it was out I was one of thise making fun of it.  Several years  ago I got into it, and watched it everyday.  It was nice because having never seen it, I had years to catch up on.  It is one of the best acted, totally realistic period shows ever on television.

I also love Irene Ryan as Granny and Jane the bankers secretary in Beverly Hillbillies .. omg, Jane never broke character.  She was amazing.  And who could not love Granny.  They made the characters so real and lobable, because the show was based on a rather preposterous story line.  I love the show, even today it makes me laugh

@shoekitty  Nancy Kulp (Jane Hathaway) was from Harrisburg, PA. She was great! I remember her in other movies and TV shows.

i had a crush on Johnny Crawford in Rifleman.  In fact I was president of his fan club.   I am 71 too!

OMG, so did I! I used to write him letters and ask my grandma to mail them for me. I was only 4 or 5 years old at the time, so I'm sure my writing was gibberish. I wonder what my grandma did with those letters. Johnny Crawford looks the same today, and he has recorded some songs. 🥰
