Re: Farberware Electric Percolators

Yesterday I ran across a stove top stainless steel percolator on the BBB site.   I'm thinking about it...........'Still' it wouldn't be the same re: keeping coffee hot for several hours.  Electric is so much easier.  No need to 'stand there' and keep an eye on it.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

Re: Farberware Electric Percolators

I have  had  two Farbarware coffee pots for many many years, both are still going strong.  I too believe a lot of products aren't made as they used to be and in fact are not made to last because of the lower standards in the market.

My mother gave my aunt an electric coffee pot in the fifties when they first came out.  My aunt used that pot up until she passed a few years ago.  I would say that was a quality item!!!!  I still have cooking pots from the fifties I use and most everything I have which is old is still functional.

Happy Thanksgiving posters!!!!!!!!
