Family Guy Killed Off ....What Were They Thinking? Spoiler Alert!

Just read on Huff-Po that they killed Brian. He was my favorite character. The voice of reason and his interactions with Stewie were the best part of the episodes. I did not see it last night, watching a movie. Are you suprised at this decision?
