Anyone else have a forecast for real autumn weather in the near future?  We have a cold front coming through right this minute.  Temperature has dropped since this morning and the wind is blowing about 40mph.  We'll have highs in high 60s/low 70s and lows in 40s in the coming days.

Time to get the fleece sheets on the bed.

Went out to check on my dog this morning who was furiously barking in the back yard.  There were 2 hot air balloons at rooftop level in front of the houses behind me.  Dogs hate the sound of them.  Balloon Fiesta starts 2 weeks from today!  Yes, it's definitely fall.

We're in S. E. Louisiana, and there's not a hint of fall here.  It's been in the mid 90's all week, and nothing is changing for the weekend.  Rain is expected on Monday and Tuesday, so perhaps the temps will drop a bit.

October is usually one of our best months, so here's hoping that October doesn't let us down this year.

Those are the temps we've been having lately, too, so yes it is fall weather.  I prefer COLD, but I'll take the cool weather over hot weather any time.

We are still waiting for fall here in Indiana!  We have had high 80s all week long and no rain - cold front coming through sunday night - will drop to 70s.  At least the mornings have been nice and cool and no humidity during the - that I can deal with!  I really don't think we are going to have much of a fall here this year - I think we will jump right into winter.

Here in Southern Virginia was 80's today, ac still going and I am awaiting my favorite season...autumn. I think the word autumn means sated from the harvest if I am not mistaken. Ohhhhh I would love to live in NM.....am a southern gal with a zest for the desert southwest. When in Virginia City Nevada they had to catch me to get on the plane to fly back here. I was hoping to apply for southwest refugee status LOL LOVE cool weather and dont mind heat as long as not humid.

Piedmont NC Still mid 80s today and tomorrow but 70s next week. Here's hoping!

I'm in Atlanta. 6:00 PM here and 89 degrees. No fall weather for us yet.

I'm in central NY.  We got to 85 and sunny today.  Beautiful.  Tonight down to 40 with a high of 64 tomorrow.  We are to have 6 cool days and then warm up again.  We had such a dry summer they do not expect our fall leaves to be colorful this year.  I had to rake leaves in Aug but rain this month has helped.  Most of my grass is green again and I need to mow.   The black walnuts are falling on my roof so the squirrels will be busy.  The deer wait for me to open the outer shells with my mower and they will eat the nuts.  I love fall.  I've got new batteries in my camera and I am ready to go for a ride around the lakes and hills.
