With the Autumn season around the corner, it made me think of what it feels like to me.  Or rather, the memories it evokes.

I remember when each school year was getting ready to start and it reminded me that my children were another year closer to becoming adults.  It also makes me think of trips my DH and I would take to the mountains of NC to rent a cabin and go hiking.  Fresh apples by the roadside, the crisp clean air!

What does fall evoke in you?🍁🍁🍁

Fall is my favorite season. I have always enjoyed the cooler months. The beauty of the changing leaves and the college football games.

Fall is also when my birthday is and so is my anniversary.

To me it is family time.

Autumn is my favorite time of year. It's such a beautiful season.  I live in PA so when autumn comes I just love the clean, crisp air.  Cooling temps, blue skies with white puffy clouds, beautiful jewel colored leaves.  Nothing better.

Also, to me when August 1 rolls around the rest of the year just flies by.  There is so much activity.  Kids back in school, football games, holidays big and small, craft shows, fundraisers of all kinds.   So much to do, so many places to go.  It's just the best.  I try to make the best of all the seasons, but autumn in my opinion can't be beat.

Wish fall lasted twenty months! Some things I love are:

Cool, crisp air

Football season

Colorful leaves

Decorating in autumn colors

Sweaters, sweatshirts and jeans

Eating fresh produce up until it freezes

Long walks in the woods

No mosquitoes

I remember as a child in the 60s getting new clothes, new school supplies.  Everything smelled so good and well, new! LOL.   Fall is my favorite season and wish we had more of it.   I remember the leaves turning, red, gold, yellow starting in September.  Now, it doesn't start until late October or November.   Love the crisp, cool air, being able to go outside in weather that isn't stfiling hot and going for long walks.

Fall is my favorite season.  I love the cool, crisp air and the changing leaves........just the sound of them blowing around is comforting to me.  The smell of wood burning stoves and fireplaces really lets you know the season has changed.   And the beautiful bright mums and pumpkins all around you Smiley Happy    Fall in New England........perfection.

I bought a new, small crossbody bag -- it has autumn leaves all over the front of it.

@LindaSal , might be a silly question but do you know if a mums plant can survive indoors?  If so, do you know how long?  I live in an apt. so naturally I don't have my own garden.   I love the color of fall mums.

I looked up the answer to my question. One article said you can keep mums indoors , and another said it's not a good idea.  So, who knows?
