Have some really creepy posters.  Comments from men are disgusting.  Not to me but one of hosts has men asking her to pose in a bathing suit and wet t-shirt.  So yucky.

Hubs and I deleted our FB accounts last year after being on it for 9 years.  It has gotten so bad and nasty. Best thing we ever did, have never missed being on it.

Both my husband & I deleted our FB accounts as our New Year's resolution in 2019.  Haven't missed it for one single day.

While I may be in the minority I have no interest in Facebook.  I once went on many years ago at the urging of a friend, I closed within the day, not for me.  I also do not care for its founder and will leave it at that.

With that being said, for those of you who connect with family and friends on Facebook that is fine.  It is a personal choice.

I agree with you on the founder  comment.  Since they changed their format I can't even figure out how to use it now.  I am seriously considering closing mine also.

On FB  - my only "likes" are alumni pages, knitting and crochet, Gerrma and Irish genealogy,  DNA groups, religion, "Ancient Aliens"  (hysterical), some magazines, yarn shops, Latin and German pages, some political.

Anytime there's a raunchy post - I just report it to the group or hide it.

Easy to deal with stuff that you don't like.

Mostly - I use messenger to chat with friends.

@SurferWife

That's about the time I stopped using FB and didn't regret it either. Was so liberating!

A relative of mine uses facebook for her business but I guess is unaware that all of her disgusting tweets and instagrams are linked to it.  Seems like it would be bad for business...certainly turned me off.  In fact, some of her weird comments that came directly from her astonishes me.  I will never see her again that's 100% certain.

Not surprising at all.  There is a host who accommodates her followers with pictures of her feet, at their request, all on the corporate pages.

If you bother to set FaceBook up and adjust your settings, you will not get "trash."

I have 80 friends and I don't get anything that is not from my friends except ADs.  No trashy posts!

Take time to set it up correctly, you will enjoy it!
