I am so sick of all the data breaches, they notify you months after about it and offer you a free year of credit reporting. At least with Facebook they're repaying you for their carelessness in the form of a money payment. I'll take the money as some small payback for my personal information being "out there". By making companies pay the price for not keeping millions of people's private information from getting into the wrong hands maybe losing money will make sure this doesn't happen again.
