I don't know about anyone else but I had no idea that it was anything more than what was typed.  So I stand by my reply that not everyone is miserable and it did not require such an angry response.  OP is the one that needs to lighten up.

really thought you were being totally serious. i am a HUGE fan of this time of year, but i have never heard that quote and i have never seen that movie.
