I saw on one of the newscasts a day or so ago a message of "x days to Christmas, x days to New Year's and 56 days to Valentine's Day!"

I guess it would be something like 53 or 54 now.  The stores can't get the stuff in early enough apparently, for all those eager shoppers!

Retail sales are hurting.  Corporations want you to keep the buying mentality going.

So don't let up because you may be done with Christmas shopping, get your Valentine's shopping started now!! Sales is sales!!

Give it 2 weeks; can Easter fashion be far off?

NO--that is totally a retail thing--nothing crazy about it. I worked retail for 12 years and we had all those holidays stacked up in the store room--it all started coming  after July 4th-- that got put on the floor immediately after xmas and sometimes they had small areas during. No big surprise to me at all.

Yes, this is because stores have a seasonal section. They will try to stretch ot what they can of the current season but once that starts being hard to do and the shelves end up looking bare they condense and start putting out the next season.

I was in my grocery store yesterday and they haven't started to do that yet and the seasonal section looks awful. At least to me who used to work retail.

Do they also sell the men to celebrate Valentine's Day with?

If they are now in stock, I'll stop by after work to pick one up. Smiley LOLHeart

@Laura14 - call me if you go. I'll go with you.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Appetizing young love for sale

Love that's fresh and still unspoiled

Love that's only slightly soiled
