Same thing happened to me. I did a post about it somewhere. I am new to this and do not yet know where to post, etc. Sure made me mad! I spent hours looking for inexpensive beauty items for my grands for Valentine's Day. Sheesh

That's the way the cookie crumbles.  BUT sometimes it pays off.  I had two items but both on waitlist.  I could have cancelled and reordered to get the free S&H, but the price increased on both.  I actually saved money on keeping them on waitlist and paying the S&H.

I am waiting for HSN to have a free shipping day.  There are a couple of items I wanted to purchase on sale (already Christmas shopping for next year)  don't hate me!! LOL!

I am not planning on ordering from the Q in the near future.

That was a SURPRISE as already had free ship weekend for beauty.  I already ordered what I wanted. I had a couple of home items that ship at $5.50 on my list so ordered those today.

I've been wanting the Kuhn Rikon 2 cup chopper but was not paying the $5.50 shipping. Went online to buy just now and the single chopper was reduced from $24.00 to $19.98 with no shipping. The 2 choppers were $38 plus $5.50 shipping. Needless to say I got the 1 chopper. Probably don't need 2 anyway
