FRANCIS THIS MORNING

[ Edited ]

I was able to watch the entire presentation and it was awesome!

Members were told not to clap, but they did.  Standing ovation after standing ovation!

It was wonderful Smiley Happy  Did anyone else see it? *

*Edit to say "It" was wonderful.  I apologize, I'm typing with a splint on my hand Smiley Happy

I saw a lot of him speaking but I'm not sure how much I missed.  He spoke some very powerful words.  It would very wise of this world everywhere to heed his message.

I truly think and say often that the end is near.  It's been coming for some years now.  Look around at the horrors of things we humans do to each other and what the land has been giving back to us.

Think about it.

I saw part of it.  He is doing great public relations for the Catholic church.

Your comments remind me of an R.E.M. song:

"It's The End Of The World As We Know It"

We've already lost so many of the word's species.

He is certainly a loving and wise man, very well spoken, also.

I guess that's true, too, because so many of us who aren't RC greatly admire him.

I'm so glad Congress didn't listen to the rules - they were not supposed to applaud during the Pope's talk - I'm so glad they showed him the respect he deserved.  It was wonderful!  I love him even more if that's possible!

I think a lot of people feel that way, especially now Smiley Happy

It's best to lead by example.

Agree, and he seems to this old RC that he's doing a fine job of that, especially with humility and charity and compassion and empathy.

I can probably think of more.........

I watched the entire speech as well as much of the other coverage. I thought the Pope was absolutely wonderful! I am Protestant but I think everyone who heard his address to Congress and his speech at the Catholic Charity organization could not help but be very moved by his compassion and thoughtfulness. He is truly inspiring. And I love seeing him in the little Fiat, lol!
