Re: FOOD PREFERENCES OF JACKIE ONASSIS

@Trinity11

600 calories per day is about all I can take in too...

however, I don't look like that beautiful Jackie!

I often feel concerned about what I’m REALLY eating. It seems brains are contaminated (usually) and many food items are GMO. I believe these elements are not processed by my body and I don't know what IS ...

gluten, sugar, grains, ...maybe I should just stick to fruit.

i wonder if celebrities and/or very wealthy women/men might know the secrets to consuming foods that are uncontaminated that won't make a person fat?
Celebrities such as Taylor Swift and hosts of tv shows might know the secrets.

I could go on but won't.

@songbird

Wide hips????  What makes you say that?  I have never seen any pictures of her that indicate she had wide hips.  She always looked so slim and trim to my eye.

Maybe you could share a photo you have seen that shows these "wide" hips.

You find it so silly but you still read and posted your thoughts, so you must also be interested in the "FOOD PREFERENCES OF JACKIE ONASSIS."  How much clearer could the subject of this thread be?

I think we are still allowed to look and comment, even if out of sheer curiosity or boredom.

@Lakelife62

I never said you couldn't.

So grateful for your permission.

It means so much. 😘

Thanks for trying but I've long realized that there are people not worth responding to.

Wait, please tell me you eat more than 600 calories a day @LTT1 ? Did you mean per meal? Because, that is starvation and can kill you longterm. The heart is a muscle and is affected by malnutrition. When I dieted years ago, I wish I had known that.

As far as "Maybe I should stick to fruit?". There is an influencer that recently died from having an all fruit diet. She was young.

Please see a nutritionist that knows your health history and labs before starting any diet. And as far as Taylor Swift, she admitted years ago having an eating disorder and she got help for it....

@reiki604  I wonder if, in the future, that legacy might be restored.

One can only hope.

Actually, I don't really think I eat only 600 cal/day.

I mean, I’m not skinny!

But I’m sensitive to lots of different foods these days!

Thank you❤️

Re: FOOD PREFERENCES OF JACKIE ONASSIS

I remember when Rose Kennedy, the family matriach, died there was a comment that said, "In an effort to stay thin, she ate very little."  It sounds like Jackie did the same.  I knew Jackie smoked, but three packs a day would certainly kill your appetite.  I suppose Rose smoked, too.  Lots of women of that era smoked in private only.  I know my mother and her sisters never smoked around their father.

I hear you about food sensitivities. I gained weight after menopause and have never been the same since @LTT1 .

I thought this thread was just a continuation of the "Love Story" miniseries resurgence in interest of Jackie Kennedy. If it was started to denigrate her legacy, I would never have replied to it. And yes @reiki604 , sadly, her legacy already has been torn up and destroyed. Cannot be denied...

Re: FOOD PREFERENCES OF JACKIE ONASSIS

@Trinity11 @Oznell

I hate to sound all cranky/complainy, but honestly the availability of wholesome food is just continuously evaporating.

My Factor meals quality have dwindled to nothingness (lettuce and even cooked veggies lack taste; entrees I liked when they were first presented go downhill). Restaurant food most places same...just even try to find chunks of chicken in that bowl!

Instead, what I find are FLAKES of meat...and whatever. "Bolstered" by rice lying on the bottom.

For a few years, I went to Subway every day ordering tuna, which I loved. I ALWAYS tipped, too.
Until the day I was served stale bread!

Oh well, maybe one day I will find a solution!
