I heard this morning that the transplant did not go as well as expected - she had complications.  Have not heard anything since - don't know for sure if they had to terminate the transplantation. I am sad for her, many hopes and dreams vanished...

The uterus had to be removed.

What a brave woman Lindsay is. Her transplant may have failed but it may not be long before this could be a reality for other women born w/o a uterus.
