I had a prepaid envelope to go out overnight for pickup. I tried to set up an account online to do it... but, their server kept saying try later... so I called their 1-800 number.. and the automated system hung up on me over and over again as I needed to speak to a HUMAN to have the pickup done. ( in order to use the automated system, you need to set up an account online which I could not do!!!). FINALLY I got ahold of a human... some outsourced Indian or otherwise person who's accent was so strong I could not understand her. I gave her the info and supposely the envelope would be picked up next day......
.... so the next day... it is 7 PM, NO PICKUP. I call them again... get hung up on three times by the computer until FINALLY another outsourced human gets on the line... a man this time THAT IS HARD TO UNDERSTAND WITH HIS ACCENT. He tells me that the address was wrong that they had for me and that is why the envelope was not picked up... it was TOTALLY WRONG. But, the address I gave the first person was 100% right??????.
SO..... I give this guy the address AGAIN.. AND even have him repeat it to me. He says the envelope will be picked up the next day....
SO.... I wait all day... and about 4:00PM, I see a fed Ex truck out my window delivering packages to my neighbor. I walk over to the driver and ask if she was scheduled to pickup an envelope from my house... she says.. No! So, If I had not flagged her down... the envelope would not have been picked up the second day either...
What is going on with FEDEX?? How can they do business if their call center and online service is not working??? I usually use UPS and their service is steller. I will never use FEDEX again.
