FEDEX IS THE WORST.

[ Edited ]

I hate them.  They lie, lie, lie.  I ordered something that they claimed they delivered.  Not they did not deliver it.  They lied.  I'm getting all kinds of mismatched information, every time, I call them.

They are the most incompetent people ever.  I'll take USPS over Fed Ex any day.  Now I must go through all this rigamarole with filing claims because I will not eat the almost 400.00 cost.  I'm so done.  Thank goodness, paypal makes it easier.

SOME OF YOU (bright ones) might be under the misguided notion that I'm complaining about your precious QVC.  I didn't order anything from them.  However what I did order was handled by Fed Ex.  And they messed up big time like they are known to do with me.

I'm sure FedEx is competing with Newgistics for the title of most incompetent, lying entity in the shipping business. I'm so sick of them I could scream.  Early this week they claim to have delivered A package to my local post office, then on three subsequent days they scanned it in Arizona.  I finally got it today after 11 days to get here from California.

I think they steal and then the other departments have to make it right.  I hate Fedex.

I'll convey your thoughts to my son.  He's a manager for Fed Ex.  He's a very, very hard worker.  He's 45 and worked many long hours, 7 days per week with no time off and ended up having a heart attack.

All the more reason for me to detest them, then.  They are probably like having people work on a chain gang @rms1954 .  No one should work that hard.

Fed Ex is the worst.  At my business if a company I order from has the option of UPS vs Fed ex...my account is marked UPS delivery only.

They do lie.

All the shipping companies are short staffed.  They are struggling to return to normal, and trying to keep up with increased demand.

Yes, I, too, have had Fed Ex packages arrive very late, weeks after the  original date. Sometimes packages say "delivered," and then show up a day or two later.  Ground is always much, much slower than air.

Also, sometimes new delivery staff put packages in strange places,  or don't know all the addresses well enough on a street to bring it to the correct house.

I track my packages daily and try to watch out for the trucks if at all possible.

With USPS I have had packages lost/delayed for a few months!

Do I hate them?  No, that is too much emotion and energy to put out for a company, and I also know the whole world is still in recovery from the pandemic.

Yes, I would like everything promptly, but patience is a virtue, and I will survive waiting.

Yes, agree.  If I could actually choose a carrier (most online retailers don't seem to allow this anymore), I would NEVER choose FedEx Ground.  They repeatedly leave packages ... all sizes, big and little, in my driveway between my garage doors.  I never, ever know they are there unless the retailer emails a delivery alert notice.  I've called the 800# (no help), I've talked to a driver (unfortunately he was the overnight delivery driver but said he'd tell the ground driver).  Nothing has helped.  I bought a Christmas tree after Christmas and they left it in the driveway -- this giant box! -- and it poured rain on it -- luckily the box was thick and resisted most of the rain.  Today, 3 packages right in the driveway.  Last week, a little box almost tucked under a walkway plant but on the driveway.  It's confounding how retailers put up with this kind of service ... but it's probably cheap ... good grief.
