I am looking forward to it, we have so many rowdy kids in my neighborhood playing outside after school until dark, this will get them in the house earlier.

I don't like it. It will start getting dark at 6:00 p.m.! That's too early for me. I don't like to drive at night, and there won't be any way around it when the time changes.

Every night I see it getting darker earlier and earlier.
Then it is going to get cold and snow and make a mess.
I am not taking this well am I? LOL!

Since we go to bed early, I like that part. Cold ... I don't like! Driving into work in the dark ... don't like! Going to bed and it actually being dark ... I do like. Yes, we're messed up .... love the summer, but hate that we have trouble sleeping because of daylight. We want to stay out and enjoy. At least with the dark it makes us come in and go to bed. LOL

Yes, we were just talking about that the other day. Every year, I have to laugh at myself in the evenings because it seems like it must be bedtime, then I look at the clock & it's only 7:30, much too early for bed!

Thank you for the reminder. Of course, I'll forget by Sunday. It seems we only have four months or so of standard time and eight months or so of savings time. That's crazy, just keep it the same year-round.

It's going to get dark "earlier" for those who have DST. Don't forget to change the settings on outside post lights!
We are in daylight savings time NOW. This weekend we go back to standard time.

Thanks for the reminder: I realized my mistake as I was driving home tonight!!!
@KYToby wrote:I appreciate the reminder, and like others, the change will take a few days to get usedto, but I do have to share one correction.
We will not be startihg daylight-saving time (DST); we will be ending DST and beginning standard time. DST is in effect during the summers -- not the winters.
