To me, eyebrows are just the hardest thing to do or get right.  When I was younger and had full and darker brows, I never even gave it a thought.  But since getting older, and seeing how they have thinned out and turned so light, it's become an issue - and one I never really thought would be!  I've seen some brows and thought -- wow -- just wow -- they are goregeous!  And others that I think --- yikes!  Once I started trying to find some type of remedy for mine -  I couldn't believe the vast array of products for brows ---- it's overwhelming -- and obviously a huge moneymaker!

@Stray  As someone who lost all of her brows to chemotherapy, microblading was the best thing I've ever done for myself, hands down!

I've seen some pretty gnarly brows, most way too dark for the hair color----I can draw a pretty decent set of brows on me due to losing all my hair from chemo--made sure my brows were on so I didn't look like a ghost----I think color and shape make a difference---most are too prefect and matchy-matchy--my brows are sisters, not identical twins Woman Happy

There's this one local commercial for a Credit Union and you notice nothing but these HARSH drawn on eyebrows on this attractive young woman!!!  You dont even pay attention to what she is saying one is fixated on these eyebrows....  They must have gotten comments from viewers because I noticed that there's a recent new commercial with more natural looking brows!

Big, dark brows were the trend  2, 3, or more years ago.  It's been replaced with huge, dark false eyelashes.

I just don't understand why so many women follow these "Trends" (???)

Does anyone remember the "Smoky Eye" look? - Ugh...

It wasn't flattering at all on most women - Gave them a dark, brooding, and almost sinister look (IMHO)

And while I know we're discussing Eyes, Eyebrows, and Eyelashes, don't even get me started on the "Half-Tuck - Cold Shoulder - and - Skinny Jeans and Pants"  trend Smiley LOL

Don't know what doesn't look great about those eyebrows!

The OP just worded her post very unkindly.  JMO

@LindaSal - were they very dark initially?  Do you live in Tri State NY/NJ?
