I imagine Hyacinth knows the ropes of her daughter's job hunting situation.

That's more like it...with her experience, she'll have a great chance of being hired.

My son with autism is a CNA and he was required (or heavily suggested) to get a Hep C vaccine....which he did.

It is very difficult for people on the autism spectrum to get jobs mainly because of the competition of the interview processes due to their usual lack of or differing social skills.

There is no vaccine for Hepatitis C.

I have a good friend that has been a Banking Center Mgr for close to 10+yrs....and he has seen it all. Pee, poo, vomit and yes, blood in his banking center @ one time or other.....you just clean it up. No special HAZMAT equipment. It's part of the job. He's very realistic about it all..."you're not rolling around in it". Smiley Happy.

A gross but true story.

One time at a conference, some of our workers got REALLY drunk. A manager pooped behind a palm tree in the hotel lobby! We never went on another out of town conference again.

I mentioned this to a client who owned a Hyatt Hotel.

He said this happens a LOT. It is a certain type of perversion. People get a thrill from doing this in public places, especially hotels. He said it's something they train staff in how to handle.

Sheez. I would never be able to look the pooping manager in the eye.

He is actually a VERY nice guy. When he's sober.

Obviously a little kinky though!

I'd suggest she check out businesses that hire people with special needs.

Fortunately, she does not need that in a job.

Thanks for all your well thought out suggestions.

The job actually is very close to home. My husband and I have been driving her since she didn't drive. She just got her driver's license last week.

She has been applying for other jobs. It is really hard to get any job these days. She cannot quit till she gets another job. We've all probably been through that.

Happy birthday.

Hy--I'm sorry you're having to deal with this. I cannot understand when people here say to let her as an adult deal with it. I don't understand that.

Most parents care about their kids jobs and such. I've seen it here and manycaring responses. What's the difference here?
