You wouldn't believe what I'm experiencing! Here my son has worked his way off of disability and makes a living wage (low but livable) and now my own siblings from across the country are complaining that they don't like the kind of work he is doing!!! (Son doesn't know this.)

It's temporary and he's taking classes online and learning guitar while he's working his own way through more schooling. I just can't believe the flack from my family out west and they haven't seen him in over a decade. They have no idea what his personality is and what kind of work would be fitting for him. You can't please everyone!

How frustrating for you, kaybee. I'm sorry and not sure I'd give them the time of day. I'm glad your son is taking classes and has a creative outlet.

Thanks Tansy!

*His job isn't temporary but him doing that exact kind of work probably is. He might like to get into special education or he can gain a few more years experience and maturity and get into elder or medical transport. He's taking general ed online until he figures it out. He's only 22 and I'm quite proud of him. He's been employed since he graduated high school.

A gross but true story.

One time at a conference, some of our workers got REALLY drunk. A manager pooped behind a palm tree in the hotel lobby! We never went on another out of town conference again.

I mentioned this to a client who owned a Hyatt Hotel.

He said this happens a LOT. It is a certain type of perversion. People get a thrill from doing this in public places, especially hotels. He said it's something they train staff in how to handle.

Oh my. I laughed for a while before I could comment on this. Did he mean to do this or was he too drunk to realize where he was? I can't imagine how embarrassing that would be and to have all of your work colleagues know would be the worst. Was he teased mercilessly? Poor guy. I would die if that happened to me.
