Exercise Addiction?

Has anyone ever heard of such a thing? My brother's wife runs daily, and looks great, but has been told by her doctor she suffers from an exercise addiction and needs helps. She's sick quite frequently and has been told by her physician that she needs to stop exercising so much, gain weight and seek counseling. By the way...she's not anorexic.
