Excel spreadsheet printing question

I have taken a job working from home, and trying to get set up. The company just emailed me a spreadsheet that is 96 columns wide. I am trying to work from my iPad, and this is too wide to view easily. We have tried to print some of the columns, from the desktop, which Excel is not letting us, because working from a hard copy would be so much easier. Any ideas? I am trying not to have to use the desktop much because dh uses it for his business spreadsheets.
