I use to really enjoy evine, watches and all lol.  however lately they are doing all these remotes one minute they are in L A, next minute in florida.  I am thinking their prices will be going up to pay for all those remotes.

Now that Invicta has invested in EVINE, it is probably more convenient for them to have the EVINE hosts come to Florida  (invicta headquarters) for shows.

I really, really enjoy all the off-site EVINE shows--Las Vegas, Italy, Glamping, Cruise, and so forth.

it makes the shopping experience much more fun for hosts, vendors and viewers.

I have never been to Minnesota, but I know it is cold and snowy for a long time.

I really enjoy their remotes too.  Looking at the same hosts, in the same studios and selling the same merchandise gets really boring.  Yesterday the jewelry on the yacht was very nice.  Change of pace for the viewers, vendors and hosts.

Invicta has a bigger stake in Evine now. They were broadcasting this weekend from the Marine Pavilion where the Invicta boat is docked.  I really have no idea why they would be doing clothing shows from there except more advertisement for Invicta.

DH and I have cruised twice out of the Port of Miami and that is where the Invicta boat is.  It's really not all that impressive and the area is really just a boat dock.  Nothing all that fancy about it at all. There are some gorgeous houses on the other side as you make your way out of that port though.

I don't know how you made that leap.  I'm sure the remotes are planned well into the future.  Every remote week was planned a year or probably two years out.  The cost has been factored into their operating budget.  If you notice, there is always a heavy Invicta element in those tropical remotes.  Some are even on the Invicta yacht so Invicta is sharing the costs, if not paying the full cost.  Sending a some hosts and product and a production crew to some warm weather locale isn't a high expense for a shopping channel.

@alarmclock
Thank you for posting that link. I had NO idea Tommy Hilfilger was an investor/advisor to Evine!

"Having a New York and Los Angeles presence changes the access and perception of the Video Commerce business,” said Tommy Hilfiger, fashion Icon and Investor/Advisor to the company."

Sorry...I spelled his name incorrectly.

I don't care where they sell but what they sell. Lately its been Invicta (how many watches can one person buy?). I posted on Facebook about The Sizzle, and was told nothing is planned for the next two weeks! I haven't been watching Evine lately.
