Every time I ask a question about an item they wont post it.

I just ask where the item was made and I ask that on most clothing items.

That is a conversation they do not want to discuss...all the junk  made

 in China.  Makes them look bad....

Unless stated otherwise, I would just assume the item was made in China.

@millies daughter   I don't think QVC has the staff to answer all of the questions asked.  Many can be answered by reading the description.  Customers usually answer most of them but I know I refuse to answer stuff like, "where was it made?". Things are often made in several countries, i.e. fabric in one, garment in another.  Those Chinese-made computers contain American-made components.

That's because China is more or less considered to be "controversial topic" .

I really don't think anyone here is so naive as to not know that.

If people would just stop trying to sneak political/controversial topics past the censors (Mods), then maybe those posts/threads wouldn't be deleted.

@Anonymous032819

It's a buying preference. Just like not wanting to buy from cosmetics companies that are not cruelty free. There needs to be a way to know so that people can make their choices with all the relevant information. And clearly many QVC customers, a significant portion and for a variety of completely different reasons, do care about country of origin for products. Those who don't care would not be put off by the information if it were provided.

@ahoymate   Incorrect.  She used the correct term:  every time.  It is not a compound word.

@millies daughter .. it’s more than likely the items are made in China & they don’t want to “broadcast” it .
