@Witchy Woman @HerRoyaLioness ...I'm not a sewer but found your posts very impressive...It takes a lot of patience and attention to detail for sure!...I was wondering what you meant when you referred to the "walking foot", so I googled it and now I have learned something new about sewing machines...not that I now plan on getting one and taking up sewing...lol

@HerRoyaLioness ... Your blanket looks absolutely lovely to me...It is the love and care that you have put into your talent that shows through and the kitties would love snuggling into it!

I mailed something using my own box within the US

it weighed uner 2 lbs and cost me just under $11.00

it took 3 days - I did NOT request insurance - recept - or express shipping

the clerk was NOT helpful in letting me know what was less expensive - using their priority box which i know is a flat rate or using my own box

she kept sayin - put the address label on and put it through the window

Apparently Stella's labor has stalled. Following is from around 3:00 of Shelly's CC. There was some before if you want to go to DVR.

CC: IT'S CALLED INERTIA. IT CAN HAPPEN FOR ANY NUMBER OF REASONS. WE HAVE DECIDED TO DO A C-SECTION. WE WILL BE LEAVING A LITTLE AFTER 3:30. I'M GOING TO GO GET SOME THINGS TOGETHER

PSA: Stella is heading in for a c-section at Mt. View at 4 PM. The amount of bleeding she has is normally associated with heavy labor contractions, of which there have been none. Standby for updates.

Please send your thoughts and prayers for our beautiful catermelon Stella, as we head to Mountain View Vet Hospital for an emergency c-section.

We view c-sections as a method of last resort, and as today progressed, Stella began to have typical active labor bleeding and discharge without the active labor contractions. We have been in close communication with our amazing vet team, and decided we are at a point where a c-section is necessary.

Stella is a five year old feral cat, which means this is likely her FIFTEENTH litter of kittens. 15 litters of kittens sounds crazy, but at three litters per year, they add up fast. Chronic pregnancy takes a huge toll on mama cats like Stella, and if we hadn't finally trapped her, she would have continued to get pregnant over and over again until her body gave out. In the wild, she would have continued to lose 75% of her kittens to disease, predators, starvation or injury.
